This is what the house looked like when I bought it in late summer and when I arrived in the middle of January. What a difference a few months had made. As it happens I was lucky to even get there because the town (and the whole area for that matter) had been cut off for a number of days due to iced roads. You know it must be bad if it stops the Canadians.

..and it took about 4 attempts to get the car on the drive.
